We hope
that you are all well after this strange autumn!
We, the
Rider Position Team, can look back on a remarkably busy and fruitful year. Our
focus has been to learn as much as possible about how we as riders move in the
saddle. We have sold our first service – the data driven seat analyses – to
more than 100 riders. At the same time, we have collected data that is used to
develop our first digital coach, Rider’s Position Rhythm Coach, that measures
the rider’s rhythm together with the horse. This coach helps the rider to ride
in a regular rhythm.
To develop
this coach has been far more challenging than we could imagine. The plan was
that it would be ready by now but there are still some technical issues that
need to be solved. However, we will continue the testing together with our
group of test riders during January 2021 and release the rhythm coach in app
store in February or March. In the video above Caroline shares her experience from
pretesting the coach.
Below you can read more about this
autumn’s highlights.
We wish you a wonderful Christmas and a Happy NewYear

Students contribute to the
development of our digital seat coach
During
autumn, we started an interesting project together with Realgymnasiet in
Västerås. In this project, we will investigate if a group of riders can
improve their physical skills and their seat during riding by using data driven
seat analyses combined with a physical off horse training program specially
tailored for riders. The students have performed this training program under
supervision once a week for eight weeks. We hope that this project will
contribute to better prepare young professionals for the physically demanding
horse sector. And in the long run will lead to more healthy riders and
horses. See #md_temp_url#pressrelease.
We got two new co-owner
We are incredibly pleased that we have got two new
passionate co-owners in Rider´s Position Sweden AB; Christer Norström and his
wife Ylva Wretås. Christer is the founder of Racefox, a digital coach for runners and skiers and he is bringing valuable
experience into our company as a technical advisor. Ylva is a management consultant
and will help us to build and structure a sustainable company.
Winner of the Audience Prize
Thank you all that voted for us. We are so happy that we won the Audience Prize thanks to all our followers! And on top of that we won Best Traction in the same Sweden finals and 50 000 SEK. We are using that in our development work of the Rhythm Coach.
