It is almost Christmas! We are looking back at an exciting autumn with Rider’s Position.
It has been challenging with lots of hard work and feelings where hope, frustration and happiness replaced each other. But most of all we were thrilled to discover how the movement registrations so well support our analyses of the way riders are sitting in the saddle.
We wish you a Happy Christmas and a Great New Year and look forward to involve you all in our further work to develop Rider’s Position Coach.

Workshop with first group of test riders
In November we had a workshop with the riders taking part in the collection of data for our very first step towards a mini data driven seat analyses. All are riders from Stigsbergs Farm outside of Bålsta. Mari discussed the test results with each of the riders and afterwards we discussed how the riders can work to improve their seat and position. The riders were very positive and engaged. A big thanks to the participating riders for all valuable feedback!
Our Coach from Almi
We got a fantastic business coach Charlotta Strand from Almi. She interviewed us about our plans and contributed to structure them into a strategic plan. We will continue to work with Charlotta during spring and we are really looking forward to that.
Agri Venture in Vara
We were selected and had the opportunity to participate and pitch for Agri tech interested investors at Agri Venture Sweden. An event co-hosted by Agroväst and RISE (Research Institutes of Sweden). Our pitch was very well received and we made many new contacts. In the clip Charlotta Mantell presents Rider’s Position Coach and how the innovation will work in practice.
Ideaction where ideas come to life
We are participating in a program called ideaction.se were we for eight weeks get support with methodology, knowledge and tools to further test our ideas and how to technically and commercially fine tune them. Their tool space is a place to 3- print, laser cut etcetera where we have designed prototypes for our smart sensor.

We have made a survey where we asked riders about their position in the saddle. Today we have more than 330 riders that have answered. If you haven’t done the survey please do. The survey is available in Swedish and English: We have also done a survey towards trainers to compare what they think about their riders. Please send the link to your trainer. We have already 35 trainers that replayed but it would be great to have more!
